Yes, I agree. But to a certain extend....
After I got trapped in the train for more than 2 hrs, I really have nothing good to say. 
Being trapped in the train/station for so long is tiring and frustrating enough.
To add oil on fire, the announcement and apology for the delay runs every 5 seconds.
Not kidding. I counted. Every 5 sec. 
Is it necessary?
Isnt the announcer tired?
Of course I know, being Japanese, to 'allow' your customers to encounter such an incident, they will be 200% apologtic.
But there is NO NEED to have the message said every 5 secs. 
That is too much!!
It just added on to the frustrations. 

News as evidence for the longest ride home. (With this kind of duration, I would have reached Osaka via Shinkansen..)
